I. Sol Latino Package:

This package includes:

Personalized Spanish classes, 1 teacher and 1 student, Monday through Friday, in the morning or afternoon.
Accommodation with a Guatemalan host family where you can enjoy the warmth of Guatemalan hospitality and have a private room, hot shower, and are able to enjoy a typical breakfast, lunch, and dinner prepared by the family 7 days a week.
Several activities each week: educational, recreational, sports, and social projection such as Latin movies, cooking and dance classes, conferences, hikes, soccer, visits to local social projects, day trips to local markets, historical sites, hot springs, saunas, among other activities; and longer excursions on the weekends with experienced guides (personal expenses and transportation not included).
Contribution to the social projects, which the school supports, and to local social projects within the city (A part of your tuition is donated to local social projects in need of funding).
Unlimited, delicious, free coffee & tea all day long.
Free internet access.
Free, unlimited WiFi access.

II. Sol Latino Duo Package:
For people traveling together (couples, friends, family) with the same Spanish level and interests it is possible to share classes: 1 teacher and 2 students.

This package includes:

Shared Spanish classes, 1 teacher and 2 students, Monday through Friday, in the morning or afternoon.
Accommodation with a Guatemalan host family where you can enjoy the warmth of Guatemalan hospitality and will have a private room, hot shower, purified drinking water, and are able to enjoy a typical breakfast, lunch, and dinner prepared by the family 7 days a week.
Daily activities: educational, recreational, sports, and social projection such as Latin movies, cooking and dance classes, conferences, hikes, sporting events, visits to local social projects, day trips to local markets, historical sites, hot springs, saunas, among other activities; and longer excursions on the weekends with experienced guides (personal expenses and transportation not included).
Option to participate in the school’s social projects and the various NGO’s around Quetzaltenango.
Contribution to the social projects, which the school supports, and to local social projects within the city (A part of your tuition is donated to local social projects in need of funding).

IV. Student Guesthouse Package:

For those who wish to study Spanish and stay in Casa Latina.

This package includes:

Personalized Spanish classes (1 teacher and 1 student) or shared (1 teacher and 2 student), Monday through Friday, in the morning or afternoon.
Accommodation in Casa Latina : our guesthouse is completely furnished. You will be living with other foreigners, but you will have a private room and free use of the shared shower with hot water, the kitchen and wireless Internet.
Daily activities: educational, recreational, sports, and social projection such as Latin movies, cooking and dance classes, conferences, hikes, sporting events, visits to local social projects, day trips to local markets, historical sites, hot springs, saunas, among other activities; and longer excursions on the weekends with experienced guides (personal expenses and transportation not included).

Shared classes*, 1 teacher and 2 students:

This package with 25 hours of Spanish classes for only:
US$ 150- per person per week from September to May.
US$ 153- per person per week from June to August.

This package with 20 hours of Spanish classes for only:
US$ 140- per person per week from September to May.
US$ 143- per person per week from June to August.

*The shared classes are for people who are traveling together (couples, friends, families) with the same level and interests in Spanish. These prices include lodging in a double room. If you prefer a single room the prices vary a little.

V. Salsa & Spanish Package:

Salsa and Spanish Classes with professional instructors.

At Sol Latino we are offering a brand new Salsa program “Salsa Latina Academy” combined with our Spanish courses. Our Salsa program offers lessons from beginners to advanced levels, and provides:

Quality instruction that is designed to progress the abilities of each student
Fast results with a solid foundation
Fun and relaxed learning in a social environment
Weekly outings for students to socialize dance and have fun
Besides, everything mentioned in each of our Spanish packages!!

The prices vary, we offer packages from $292- including 20 hours of 1-on-1 Spanish classes, accommodation, activities and excursions, and 5 hours of private Salsa classes!

Note: If you would prefer another type of living situation or already have a place to stay, the portion of the package price that is for accommodations will be discounted from your weekly tuition.

The payment of the package is distributed in the following way: teachers, host families, guides, administrative coordinator of the school, aid to social projects, expenses (Internet, telephone, electricity, etc.), general rent, taxes, activities and general expenses.
